I interviewed over a year ago for this role. I remember the initial recruiter call being extremely positive, which made me excited for the actual interview. Pretty early on in the interview, I could tell that the interviewer was not interested in me. He seemed to like my answers but seemed to question my lack of experience and age - which is totally fine; no harm, no foul. The weird thing is that I was totally ghosted after the interview (despite following up with a thank you email), only to receive a rejection email a YEAR after I originally interviewed. I obviously wasn't expecting the role to work out and got that impression during the interview, but I find it a little bit bizarre that I never received any formal notice from Waystar until a full year later.
