We have some pretty bid data that needs to be organized in a structured manner through SQL Server. We also have the requirement for automation of the data programming / analysis processes, preferably using MS SSIS. Do you think we should be proceeding with automation to get results faster or is there a better way?

We also have the requirement for automation of the data programming / analysis processes, preferably using MS SSIS.  Do you think we should be proceeding with automation to get results faster or is there a better way?

MS SSIS is the best way for automation as long as it meets the security needs of the organization.  However there are many limitations on its implementation in very short time.  I suggest to use SQL Server, VBA and Windows PowerShell combination to achieve the same along with SSIS for faster rolling out the required services.  And I'm capable and confident of the same.
