Here the manager misunderstood what the word "passion" means and was more concerned with my personal life rather than my work, school, or volunteer experience. She wanted to hear that I'm passionate about Ulta, a company I've never worked for and only visited a few times, or beauty supplies. Had I felt more comfortable speaking with this person and still wanted the job, then I could have gotten into a better explanation as to why I wanted to work there than I had given.
