I said that I enjoyed helping people since I know from experience how hard it is to find a job. They wanted me to answer the question in a way that acknowledged the importance of helping their clients (the companies they serve). Apparently I gave the common answer. Basically, at the end of the day, they don't care about helping people as much as they do helping companies (and thereby getting commission).
