The reason this was difficult was that it was a trick question of sorts. Much data can be harvested about a person, that would normally be taboo to ask in an interview or on an application. The employer can get quite a bit of information about the person. My child's college was the reason we moved to the area, that told the person interviewing me my approximate age, the fact that I could be struggling financially with tuition payments, I haven't been in the area that long and haven't set down roots, therefore I could be a risk or not, I most likely needed a job and therefore would be hesitant about negotiating on a salary. On the flip side it said as a single parent I have guts to pick up and start over with no family in the area, it says I am a go getting and don't let the fear of new experiences or changes stop me in my tracks. The older age has led me to have much more experience and vision compared to a younger person.
