Customers come first and they should not be ignored. I do not wish to depend on the manager all the time since I am on the hotseat.

In the case of a sales position. Sometimes the manager or supervisor should be relayed the problem and have them decide whether a discount could be applied or work with customer to find a suitable middle ground.
