I said that I was familiar with HIPAA rules from visiting the doctor's office. I know that a patient's medical information isn't to be shared with the public, and patient records can't be left out in the open where anyone could see them. Well, they hated my answer and acted like HIPAA rules are so difficult to understand. I went home after the interview and learned the rules within five minutes. I have no idea why this would be an interviewer killer.
