I went into a deep explanation of how I have worked extensively with designers as well as integrated design tools into the build pipeline. I know best practices around creating reusable components and having clear style guides. But I have not managed designers, nor do I believe that is the best organization. A manager should be one who can deeply evaluate their teams' performance. I do not believe I should be guiding a designer's career path when I, myself, cannot draw to save my life.
