I started by giving an answer that was a definition of "generalization." I realized through the body language of the special education director that I was on the wrong track. I stopped myself and said "I honestly can not come up with the definition of universal design. But I will Google it after this interview." I was offered the job later that day and joked with the special education director that I didn't even have time to Google "Universal Design." It became a joke between us!
