If I could change one thing, it would be to shift more towards a bottom-up approach in the early stages of project planning. Too often, major decisions are made in a top-down manner without enough engagement from the communities who are most affected. I believe that bringing local voices into the conversation earlier — whether through public participation, stakeholder workshops, or ground-level feedback loops — can lead to more inclusive, practical, and accepted outcomes. In future projects, I’d advocate for stronger grassroots involvement to complement strategic goals from the top.
