The job I originally went for was a mid level position. I have more experience than most college students, but still limited none the less, so I answered on the Marsh and McLennan website with a salary lower than the "lowest posted salary" posted for that position. Unfortunately, I was not given an option to answer that question again when they moved me to an entry level position. So the employer sees me as a demanding, somewhat "cocky" kid that expects to be moved down here and then paid $15k more than everyone else applying for this job.
