I explained that I have had a handful of ELLs in all of the classes I've taught, and that I made sure to incorporate SIOP strategies into my lessons. I also described the internship experience I had while working towards my ESOL endorsement. This was apparently more than enough experience to move on to the mock lesson stage of the interview.
