The truth. Told them I came to visit family and my car ran into issues while here, had to take it into shop to get fixed. Called current job in other state, told them I would be back a day late, would need to miss my shift because of car problems in another state. They told me if I didn't make it to my scheduled shift, I would be written up. So I quit because I thought their "demand" was unrealistic.
