Why didn't you just leave when you were doing door to door sales with them.

because as I say, they drove me 30 minutes away from where I met them, didn't even tell me where we were plus I spent loads on getting the train to their office already and didn't want to have to spend more just to escape them

Oh I see, well I did the second interview like you but I didn't see it that way at all because it wasn't bad. They don't target pensioners and older people as they have a basic structure they run with you e.g. 3 stages with door to door. Besides if your doing face to face customer service what we're you expectin and you wouldnt be doing it for a long time.

lol I'm 90% sure you're from the company so you can stop talking about 'they'. Also I am aware that I partly fell for your stupid scam, pro tip > Marketing Assistant =/= door to door sales xD and the progression idea is a common scam, just Google it. Also you're doing a good job of improving your Glassdoor rating by posting fake good reviews every time you get a bad one...yes its obvious. Thanks to you I now ALWAYS check Glassdoor before even applying to companies so I can see how crap they are.

I am going to add my review also to this post for other people to be aware of this scam of a company! I applied online for this company through totals job group. I got an email directly from the company them stating they are interested in my CV and they would like to discuss with me more about it. The position I applied for was for the trainee marketing assistant which they claimed will have a basic salary of 18-20k. Ok, so I called the company and had a brief conversation with them about the company and the role in question. They asked me basic questions, and what sort of role I was looking for to which I explained! Afterwards I was booked in for an interview for the next day which I arrived to all suited and booted. My interview time was schedule for 3.15. I got there, walked into the room where about 8 other candidates was present with more constantly walking in. I waited for about 30mins to be seen, during this time people will walk in after me only to be seen before me. Finally it was my turn so I Spoke with the managing director where she asked me basic questions and gave me a brief presentation about the role and the clients they work with to which I was impressed. She asked if I would be free around 4-5 to take a phone call so I could discover if I've made it through to the next stage. I said yes, she called me to offer me another interview to which I was very excited about to say the least. The next day I arrived early again, very excited, again, a lot of waiting time, after which I was introduced to a colleague who I'll be spending most my day with to observe them to do the job. At this point I discovered it would be a door-2door role. I was very disappointed because this was not stated in the brief, had it been stated I wouldn't had applied. They take you somewhere away from the office which you'll have to provide your own money for transport and go around knocking on doors trying to sell products to people which they may not really want. Overall I was very disappointed, if you are not interested in door-2-door sales, avoid this company at all cost! They are scam, you have no basic Salary all commission, and most off not only had this company cost me a lot of money , but time as well, I don't see why they need to lie to attract applicants, just be honest. They also fill you with this false hope that you'll make a lot of money but really and truly is just a scheme for you to stay with them. As said avoid this company at all cost and please do your own research or ask questions over the phone before you commit for an interview!
