The person who stood out most was Mike Moriarty, VP of Business Development. He was the one steady, responsive presence in the process — and the reason I stayed engaged for as long as I did. The people I spoke with individually were smart and thoughtful, but the internal disconnect between departments — especially on logistics and follow-through — made it difficult to trust the process overall. In the end, those gaps outweighed the good intentions of the individuals involved.
