It depends on the client, their budget and the timeframe their expecting their product to be live. If it's a short time, then the process is immediately taken to the visual designs and then later development starts. If the client has time and is willing to pay, then the project is first wireframed by the ux designers. The wireframes are then handed over to the UI designers to create visual designs and prototype. The visual designs are then reviewed and if any changes are required, they will done in this phase. Once the VD is frozen, the development starts.
