First thing to do is close the store. At least temporarily. Then call the DM to inform them of what has happened and to tell them that you are calling the other stores in the area to borrow help from them and that you'd appreciate it if they would follow up with a call to each store's manager to let them know to do all they can to help you out. This would included an assistant for one day/week each until positions filled at my store. Borrowing one or two people from each store should get you through until you can hire new help. Once you have some help back in your store, re-open and then get on the phone with HR for new help and anyone that has left you an application previously. In fact, I would go to any of the other businesses close by to see if they have any employees that want some either temporary work or a second job immediately.
