Monitor inventory and compare invoices with the number of written requests for maintenance to be performed with the completed job numbers that were assigned to the employee. This will determine if repairs were conducted and signed stated completion. Weekly, check the inventory log and have the employee signed stating its accurate. If there are any discrepancies in the count, perform an audit on inventory to determine if internal controls are working. If not, review to ensure procedures are followed and accountability is in place.
