At the time of the interview, my childhood best friend's life seemed to be spiraling downward due to her Dad being a closet drug addict who was in millions of dollars of debt. There was a huge event at my college that weekend, however as soon as I found out about the situation my best friend was facing, I immediately got in the car and went home to be with her. I missed the big event at school but I would not have traded it for the world to just be with her during the difficult time.
