Why are you looking for a job?

I answered I wanted to be a part of a team where I can see the 'fruits of my labor', as I was coming from contract jobs where my work was a small slice of a big project which I don't get to see results of. I've worked with bigger companies where I was a part of larger teams, and excelled at sales competition and collaboration. I thought this would be important to Landscape Comm. But the owner cut me off several times. Interviews are normally when the company want to learn about the candidates. This owner seems to only want to talk about how good they are, as if to give the feeling that candidates should be honored to be in their presence. When I asked questions about situations or give input as to how I can gain additional business at the sales role, he shot them ALL down. "This is how we have done it for years" is the mentality of the executive team at this company.
