Not a strange question on the face of it and to ask during a screening interview, but it was clear the interviewer (the hiring manager) was following a script to the letter, disregarding the applicant's (my) professional history - not going by what my resume said. So it was a bit of a strange question for me. Looking at my resume, you could see that I'm currently not employed and could assume that I was looking for and wanting a full-time position - not that I was currently employed and looking to leave my current employer for something new.
