Why do you want to work at Trinsic?

I think the co-founders are looking for people who have (or appear to have) a very strong enthusiasm for Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and are willing to pass on qualified candidates if they don't seem as hyped about their idea as they are. I really think the best they're going to get is someone who is either "merely interested and curious about" the SSI space, or someone who is putting on a bit of a show because they know that's what companies want to hear. I realize this is a cynical take and it's just a hunch, but if there's truth to it, know that I can spend an entire afternoon telling you about the most-passionate and talented software engineers I have ever worked with, who were never that interested in the underlying business, just writing good code that solved the problem at hand- and who made their employers *plenty* of money. Sometimes it seems as though companies *want* to pass on candidates because it makes them feel that their interview process is very selective and therefore only yielding the best of the best candidates, when in reality the questions they are asking candidates have little if any efficacy to how the candidate would perform as an employee, and that employer has wasted countless hours interviewing candidates when they could have hired the candidate from last month and been that much closer to achieving the company's goals.
