Why should we hire you over any other candidate?

The panel process is their way of accessing whether you have the energy to be a territory manager. The company does a lot of college recruitment, so if you are not fresh out of college then the chances of getting past the panel are slim if any. Experience means nothing.

Thanks for your insight on how much experience means to the company in hiring. Wish I knew that prior to the Panel Interview. I would have made a business decision on whether to attend or not. What you said is pretty much validated. I am a career professional in the CPG Industry, worked for the most recognizable- reputable companies in the industry and the job has the same responsibilities as my previous one. It would have been a seamless transition. I answered all the questions clear and concised. No offer. I was shocked, to say the least. You would think a company would see a need for someone who can hit the ground running and deliever immediate results. I guess i was wrong.
