Had a technical test and a video interview on the Maki People platform. I didn't interact with a single human being in the interview process. Fully automated. It truly felt like uncomfortably talking into the abyss. Hard to know if a human being ever actually looked at the materials or if the company just farmed tons of interviews and wasted tons of interviewee man-hours. Furthermore, the preparation materials ahead of the interview indicated different questions than those that were actually asked. So, I prepared thoroughly for the wrong questions and had a frustrating time during the actual interview.
