A very long selection process. Took more than half year from application to the 1st selection process which was the written test. Later, it took another (almost) a month for the interview. They will do reference check in paralel with the interview stage. Interview process with 4 panels like other UN agencies, but this one particularly was a structured one. It was a competencies based interview. Each panel asked one question. I was impressed until this stage. The HR was still responsive until this stage. After the interview, there was no update at all from them. Not until I sent a follow up email. At the end, they sent an automatically regret email. The interview was supposed to be the last stage, so sending an auto email means they didn't appreciate a candidate effort to go through the onsite written test, interview, reference check. What a shame, they show a good impression only when they need the candidate.
