I was approached by a recruiter at Worley. I had several interviews with different people. In the first interview, I mentioned my salary expectations. The whole process lasted 4 months. When Worley finally made an offer, it was way below my expectations, even though they knew my asking salary, The overall package is poor for a company that size. I nevertheless verbally accepted the position and negotiated on other points. They faffed around for another month; after nudging them, they finally came back to me saying that they couldn't accommodate me and retracted their offer. The whole process was poorly managed - 4 months of interviews to make a low offer, then ghosted me for a few weeks and finally retracted the offer.
