In reality, this was an actual product launch assignment since I later found a similar press release on their website to the one I provided. It was altered enough that I can't accuse them of stealing my work, but verified it was indeed an actual assignment they needed done, not just a hypothetical scenario. While I think that's great in one respect, it is also true that they received a lot of free consulting services, which I consider stealing.
