I applied for the position of the Manager, Tax Strategy & Indirect Taxes at Xylem in July 2018. After approx. 4 months I received an automatic email in November 2018 stating that the company selected another candidate. I was surprised with a rejection considering the time elapsed (I would prefer not to hear at all) and the fact that I met all job requirements one by one. On the very same day, I saw a new advertisement for the same position published once again by Xylem and the recruitment agency in Schaffhausen .... . Well, the company has the right to select a candidate that it considers to be the most suitable for the position. Simultaneously, it does not entitle it to treat the candidates disrespectfully (considering the application for 4 months) and lie to them!
