This is one of those companies that either does not understand what the scope of a QA resource should do or they have been testing incorrectly, or both. So when they interview candidates, they ask questions that they think are clever or smart to test the cognitive level of the candidate. I seen this at companies that ask how to solve a puzzle, solve algebra equations and circumvent true testing questions
