Applied for role supporting the Chief Legal Officer. Recruiter reached out to schedule a phone screen. Finding time was a bit weird as he was based in Africa or EMEA. Phone screen went well. Moved forward to meeting with admins then eventually the CLO and 1 other person on the legal team. The admin interviews were fine but meeting with the CLO was weird. She didn’t seem to care and was a bit disinterested. She also disabled her camera and said she needed to fix her hair/makeup and told me she can hear me and that I should keep speaking. It was just a weird call. A few days later the recruiter called saying it was a tough decision between myself and another candidate and they proceeded with the other candidate due to having experience supporting Legal. I was fine with the outcome. A few weeks later that same recruiter reached out asking if I would be interested in a new admin role that was just posted a said the team was interested. I asked would I have to repeat the full interview process since I had just completed a full loop. He checked with the team and shared that I did not have to repeat the process and could meet with the executives. So I said sure and I was instructed to apply online. It was radio silence after that for about a month. Then that same recruiter reached out saying they had filled the role and offered to stay connected. I replied declining and asked to be permanently removed from Zoom’s consideration due to wasting my time. He apologized and obliged saying I’d had been removed. Probably a good thing I dodged that company!
