After applying online and doing a few simple online tests, I was asked to attend a 'Webinar' where the head of recruitment spoke for 5 minutes and sold the company very well. I was invited to the final assessment day at Heathrow. The afternoon consisted of a series of group tasks involving debating, pitching 'dragon's den' style business idea and a couple of one-on-one interviews with various people.
I turned down the job offer because of a number of reasons:
The base salary for £1000 is laughable - it is a commission based game, but I would still expect a base salary of more than £12000 p.a.. Also you are expected to financially support yourself for a month in malta (yes you get given accommodation but a relocating bonus would have been nice)
I was given 2 days to decide if I wanted to accept the job.
Lots of people who I have spoken to about DeVere have said that they are a bunch of criminals who don't look after investor's money.
It is primarily a cold-calling job.
There seems to be some sort of personality-cult surrounding Nigel Green the CEO - he seems like an English L. Ron Hubbard!
I haven't heard anything positive about the company other than their employees - everyone else has said to me stay well away from them!

Professional, the moment I entered the office it felt like home. The Dubai office is mind-blowing and a prefect set up to be successful. I can't wait to start and work in a environment that is suited for me.

Entrevista
Split into groups and sent to different rooms to complete different tasks. First task was an IQ test, during which each candidate had to individually call the recruiter and act as though they were in the job. Second test was a debate between the group about various topics, during this task each candidate was individually interviewed by a recruiter. The third task was a presentation/pitch for a new business idea.
