I'm in the Union at Matrix and its best thing that they have to offer. A Union is like buying a brand new Bentley will full coverage insurance . If anything ever happened happened to you why you are driving your car and you're not in the wrong you have nothing to worry about. If they fire me, I'm going to my union, if they write me up, I'm going to my union, if I experience harassment on my job, I'm going to my union, if I feel like I deserve a raise, I'm going to my union. If they make me come to work on extremely bad snow days, I'm going to my union. Matrix Head Start has a very good union, I want to stay Anonymous but I am a Stewart who represents for the Union and these are some of the things that the union has fought for. Some jobs will work you to death until you can't breathe but with a union they will fight for you. I have seen some people get their jobs back or had to get that job to reimburse an employee because they fired a person for wrong reasons. It's like having a lawyer by your side all the time and believe you me, they are so scared of Union Representatives because they know that those individuals knows all the rules to the labor laws and policy and procedures.
