I found this intern directly on their website and I apllied for it online, after couple weeks i got a phone interview, just few basic problems about circuits, no big deal. After that i got a on-site interview. This time, the questions become more complex and specific.

I applied via ON Semiconductor website for an intern position and got a pre-scanning email from the recruiter in Pheonix within one week. There were 8-10 questions asking about why do you choose ON Semiconductor, what is your strength etc. After the pre-scanning email, I received an onsite interview invitation within 3 days. The onsite interview was a panel interview with team members I'll be working with. My interviewers were quite friendly and helpful. They asked many follow-up questions, introduced projects I'll be working on and answered my questions about the company. Besides, my recruiter from Pheonix was also quite helpful. And I received an offer in the following week. Overall, it was a great experience taking an interview at ON Semiconductor and I look forward to starting my internship in this summer!

There is generally a phone interview with the hiring manager first. If the phone interview goes well then it will be followed by an on-site interview with the manager as well as a few other members of the team you will be working with.
