Stand pipe pressure is sum of all pressure loss. Therefore, in order to change it we may change viscosity, density of fluid, flow rate, pipe length or diameter. For example, by choosing more viscous fluid we will increase standpipe pressure because it is necessary more pressure to circulate more viscous fluid than lower viscous one. Or by decreasing nozzle size we can again increase SP pressure. We can see it from loss formula, too.
