According to the 1951 Convention on Human Rights, a refugee is somebody who have "a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality and is unable…to return to it.” However, An Immigrant is an individual who leaves their country to settle in another Migrants may be fleeing because of poverty, or seeking better opportunities, or may be to join family relatives who have gone before them.

refugee is person who flees out of country due to war or others involuntarily migrants flee the contry due to financial insecurities voluntarily
