Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site SDET – Test Automation role based in São Paulo. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to design scalable automation frameworks, improve test infrastructure, and influence product quality through data-driven insights. This role is engineering-heavy and requires hands-on development experience. Success is defined by technical depth, framework quality, and measurable improvements to test coverage and execution efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to define test strategies and apply risk-based testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and supporting tools
- Build automated tests, API hooks, and tooling to improve reliability and coverage
- Analyze workflows and pipelines to identify efficiency improvements
- Implement metrics and reporting to communicate quality status and risk trends
- Contribute to sprint planning, technical discussions, and engineering reviews
- Maintain clear documentation and communicate progress and risks effectively
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience as an SDET, Software Tools Engineer, or similar role
- 6+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C# (JavaScript experience is a plus)
- Solid experience with automation frameworks and API testing
- Ability to analyze test data and guide quality decisions
- Confidence collaborating with senior engineers and technical stakeholders
- Strong ownership mindset and commitment to sustainable engineering practices
Nice to Have
- Experience building internal tools or custom automation frameworks
- Familiarity with Playwright or modern UI automation tools
- Experience with AWS or GCP
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and build system integration
- Performance testing experience
- Passion for video games and interactive systems
