As part of our continued growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to expand our warehousing and logistics customer base and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities for warehousing, distribution, fulfillment, transportation, and value-added logistics services. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue growth by developing relationships with prospective customers and delivering customized supply chain solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Identify, prospect, and secure new warehousing and logistics business opportunities.
· Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, trade shows, and industry events.
· Conduct customer meetings, facility tours, and business presentations.
· Understand customer supply chain challenges and develop tailored logistics solutions.
· Prepare and present proposals, pricing packages, and service agreements.
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
· Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements.
· Maintain accurate sales activity and opportunity management within Salesforce CRM.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 5 years of successful business development or sales experience within logistics, transportation, warehousing, supply chain, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or related industries.
· Proven ability to generate new business and develop strategic customer relationships.
· Strong understanding of warehousing operations, inventory management, fulfillment, transportation, and supply chain solutions.
· Experience selling 3PL, warehousing, distribution, transportation, or related business services is considered a strong asset.
· Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple opportunities simultaneously.
· Proficiency with Salesforce CRM or similar CRM platforms.

Pay: $40,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
