Hostbreak is hiring Linux Engineer (NOC & Automation) to monitor, automate, and maintain high performance infrastructure. You will work on real systems, fix real issues, and build automation that scales.

You will also gain deep, practical exposure to AI. You will learn how to interact with AI tools, write effective prompts, and use AI to solve technical problems faster. This is a core skill we expect you to develop on the job.

Candidates with DevOps experience and RWP/ISB residents are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance and detect issues early
• Troubleshoot and resolve system level issues on Linux and Windows servers
• Implement and maintain strong system security practices
• Perform regular maintenance, patching, and upgrades
• Work closely with other teams to keep systems stable and fast
• Conduct root cause analysis for outages and security incidents

Automation and AI focus:

• Automate NOC operations using tools like Ansible
• Build playbooks for provisioning, patching, and incident response
• Eliminate repetitive tasks through scripting and automation pipelines
• Use AI tools to troubleshoot faster and generate solutions
• Develop strong prompting skills to interact with AI effectively
• Continuously improve operational efficiency through automation and AI

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and command line tools
• Ability to do scripting (Bash/Python) is required
• Familiarity with Windows server administration is a plus
• Experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and log analysis tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a passion for troubleshooting
• Basic understanding of forensic analysis techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills

Salary Package

Fresher: PKR 35,000 - PKR 45,00 starting package
Experience: PKR 75,000 - PKR 95,000 (Negotiable based on skill level.)
