Member Services Representative / Banking Customer Service Associate

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for members and customers, providing exceptional service while handling a variety of financial transactions and account inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting members with account questions, transactions, and service requests.
• Accurately process cash transactions, deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other financial activities.
• Utilize computer systems to maintain accurate records and update member information.
• Answer incoming telephone calls professionally, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently.
• Promote financial products and services that meet members' needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Maintain a positive, professional environment while building strong member relationships.

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Strong cash handling and balancing skills.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent telephone communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Prior credit union or banking experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
