Dougherty Forestry Mfg. is a fast-growing Oklahoma-based manufacturer of high-performance land clearing and mulching attachments for skid steers and compact track loaders. We are seeking a motivated Factory Representative to develop and support our dealer network throughout Texas.

This position is ideal for someone who understands skid steers, attachments, forestry equipment, and dealer relationships and wants the opportunity to build a high-income territory with a rapidly expanding manufacturer.

The ideal candidate enjoys being on the road, working directly with equipment dealers and contractors, conducting demonstrations, and helping grow market share in one of the largest equipment markets in the country.

Responsibilities

• Develop and establish new dealer accounts throughout Texas
• Travel extensively to visit equipment dealerships and contractor customers
• Conduct product demonstrations and dealer training
• Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers
• Attend trade shows, field demonstrations, and industry events
• Identify strategic dealer opportunities and expand market presence
• Assist dealers with product selection, quoting, and technical support
• Represent the company professionally in the field
• Work closely with leadership to grow territory sales and dealer success

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in outside sales, dealer development, heavy equipment, or attachment sales preferred
• Experience with skid steers, compact track loaders, mulching attachments, forestry equipment, or heavy equipment required
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and capable of managing a large territory independently
• Comfortable with overnight travel throughout Texas
• CDL preferred
• Ability to tow equipment trailers required
• Mechanical aptitude strongly preferred
• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation & Benefits

• $75,000 base salary
• Aggressive commission structure
• Expected total compensation of $150,000–$250,000+ annually for high performers
