Bitwise is a small but mighty government contracting company, founded with one goal in mind: to bring integrity, innovation, and a human touch to an industry that often feels anything but personal. Our founders—seasoned professionals in national security and tech—launched Bitwise with a belief that doing meaningful work for our country doesn’t have to come at the cost of balance, empathy, or quality of life.
We’re proud to be based in Maryland, where our team supports federal clients on mission-critical projects, primarily in the defense and intelligence sectors. While we’re growing steadily, we’re not chasing explosive expansion. We’re building something sustainable—something we believe in.
Since our launch, we’ve added a mix of cleared professionals and internal team members who all bring heart, hustle, and high standards to their work. We value quality over quantity and character over clout. Our hiring process is intentionally thoughtful because we don’t just want to fill seats—we want to build a team of people who believe in what we’re doing and want to grow with us.
