Civil Solutions was founded in 2011 by Jeff Barrow, P.E., LEED AP, with a vision to create a client-focused engineering firm built on technical excellence, practical solutions, and strong partnerships. Starting in the Midwest, the firm quickly earned a reputation for delivering high-quality geotechnical, civil engineering, and construction management services to both public agencies and private developers. As Civil Solutions grew, it remained committed to building lasting relationships through responsive service and innovative, cost-effective designs. Recognizing the opportunity to expand its reach and capabilities, Civil Solutions partnered with Eastern Sierra Engineering (ESE), a respected civil and geotechnical engineering firm based in Reno, Nevada. This strategic addition extended the firm’s expertise to the western United States under the ESE brand, allowing it to better serve a diverse range of clients and projects across varying geographic and environmental conditions. Together, Civil Solutions and ESE offer a broader platform of integrated engineering services across the country.
