Consolidated Restaurant Operations (CRO) offers several dining concepts on its menu. The company is a full-service restaurant company with more than 85 locations encompassing several different dining concepts. Offering a range of Mexican favorites, its flagship El Chico chain operates in a about a dozen states and the United Arab Emirates. CRO also owns the upscale casual Cantina Laredo chain with about 30 locations. Other dining concepts include Cool River Cafe, Good Eats, and the upscale III Forks. The company also has more than 25 franchised restaurant locations. CRO is controlled by John Harkey, who started the restaurant business in 1998 with partners Gene Street and John Cracken.
