Digital Power is a real switch hitter. The company makes power supplies, such as AC/DC switchers and DC/DC converters, for OEMs in the industrial, medical, military, and telecommunications markets. Its products protect electronic components and circuits from power surges while converting a single input voltage into different output voltages. Most of Digital Power's products, which can be easily modified to meet the specific needs of its 400 customers, are made by subcontractors in China and Mexico. UK-based subsidiary Digital Power Limited, doing business as Gresham Power Electronics, makes AC/DC power supplies, uninterruptible power supplies, and power inverters; it accounts for more than half of sales.
