FiberTower rises to great heights to provide wireless backhaul and access services. A leading alternative provider of facilities-based backhaul networks, its offerings include spectrum leasing, backhauling of mobile phone traffic, and the provision of broadband connectivity and extensions to fiber-optic networks. Customers include mobile, fiber, and other high-speed telecommunications carriers, large-volume enterprise users, and government agencies. Its largest customer, AT&T Mobility, accounts for nearly half of revenues. FiberTower provides backhaul services in more than a dozen markets across the country, and it owns high-frequency band wireless spectrum licenses that cover essentially all of the US.
