Geely Automobile manufactures cars that are exported to more than 30 countries, and automotive parts for use throughout China. It operates through subsidiaries Shanghai Maple and Zhejiang Geely, as well as Zhejiang Kingkong, Zhejiang Ruhoo, and Hunan Geely. Key vehicle models include the Free Cruiser, Geely Kingkong, and Vision; other offerings are the Panda, Emgrand, and Englon. Geely is growing, adding more upscale sedans to its lineup, and exporting to new markets, such as Russia. More than 33% of Geely is held by Proper Glory Holdings. In 2010 Zhejiang Geely Holding (Group) Co., Ltd. (owned by Geely Automobile Chairman Li Shu Fu) acquired Volvo Car Corporation from Ford for about $1.8 billion.
