Internacional de Cerámica, known as Interceramic, makes glazed ceramic floor and wall tile and related products for residential and commercial use. Interceramic distributes its products mainly in Mexico (over 60% of sales) and the US (about 40%), but also in Canada and Latin America. The company has approximately 200 franchise stores throughout Mexico, and over 180 distributor locations in the US and Canada. Interceramic also sells its products through Dal Tile. The company has eight manufacturing plants in Mexico and the US and 25 company-owned warehouse and designer showroom centers throughout the US. Chairman Oscar Almeida and his family are the largest shareholders of Interceramic.
