This health care system's freedom-loving namesake might approve of its work to preserve the people's freedom of choice in health care. Jefferson Health System is a not-for-profit network that includes three health systems with hospitals, specialty clinics, and other medical facilities serving communities in the greater Philadelphia area. Members include the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital family (one of the system's founders), Main Line Health (the other founding organization), and Magee Rehabilitation. The Jefferson network has some 2,400 beds and is affiliated with Thomas Jefferson University.
