When the big doors close on a commercial trailer or shipping container, Powerbrace wants to be there. The company makes heavy-duty door-securing products, including lockrods and compression latches, hinges, and related parts such as cams and keepers. (A lockrod -- you've seen them, even if you didn't know what they were called -- runs from top to bottom on the back of a trailer and, together with a compression latch, secures the door to the frame.) Powerbrace products are sold through distributors in the US, Mexico, and Germany. The company is a unit of rail equipment manufacturer Miner Enterprises.
