The mission of PFS is to improve the performance of federal agencies to impact the health and well-being of the populations they serve.
We partner with federal health and social services agency clients, especially the Department of Veterans Affairs and Health and Human Services, to improve the health of the populations they serve.
PFS’s projects have focused on issues related to managing research priorities and allocation of resources; quality improvement initiatives to increase health outcomes and experiences; improving access to health and benefits services; analysis of the cost-effectiveness and efficacy of introducing potential innovations and new technologies into front-line operations; and analysis to improve staff access to relevant and reliable information. PFS has developed a track record of effectively partnering with agency leaders at all levels, working across silos with a participative approach that leads to better and longer-lasting results.
